Lte discovery pro10/31/2022 It shows LTE signal strength properly but doesn't show the band and the SNR just says "N/A." Obviously the Nexus 7 is a bit unique when it comes to Verizon since it has no CDMA support and relies purely on the fact that VZW's network is pretty much 100% LTE at this point.Īlso, for what it's worth, Signal Check Pro seems to have the same problem. There appears to be issues with the Nexus 7 LTE (2013), or at least when there's a Verizon SIM in it. If you like it I'd recommend supporting him as a dev and purchasing the pro version. Just look for SignalCheckLite in the Google Play Store. He makes another great signal utility you might enjoy. If you want an alternative check out SignalCheck by BlueLineComputing (MikeJeep). (Actually if you wouldn't mind, could you just go ahead an email me your logs and I'll look over them for inconsistencies?) LTE DISCOVERY PRO FREEIf you find out for sure otherwise though feel free to send us a debug email in app and we can look into it. In all my testing, AT&T band detection is probably one of the most reliable so I'd hazard to guess you are probably always on Band 17 lol. SUPPORT: If you notice any problems, please use the "Send debug email" option in-app and provide us as much information as possible about the problem and how we can recreate it.An AT&T Moto X is actually one of the devices we use to develop LTE Discovery on. We are always working and striving to improve the app. RATINGS: If you like this app, please support us by rating it 5 stars and helping with a +1, or let us know how we can improve the app. But, better signal quality is not a guarantee, especially if you are in a carrier zone with little coverage. You could also fix these issues by restart/reboot your phone, or you could just let LTE Discovery reset your radios in a few seconds. (Our email can be found in-app)īy resetting the mobile connection, you can fix many common network related issues like: continuous low signal, data disconnection, poor call quality, signal instability, and more. If you work in the industry, feel free to email us if you have any knowledge that may be able to help us. From user reports, Verizon sometimes provides tower location, but they are typically inaccurate. Support for more carriers is currently in active development. Though, Sprint+Pro users may have more feature. At this time, the in-app map is only used for showing current location. Not all devices/carriers are supported for LTE bands and other advanced signal data. There is no such thing as an "LTE signal booster" app, what actually happens is forcing the device to search again for the best signal rather than staying connected to an older, possible stale connection. "Best signal available" doesn't mean this app can make LTE or 5G appear where there is none. Many thanks to the community for the support and the questions and feedback. This is an advanced app with some features specific to only some devices/carriers. Advanced LTE, 5G, 4G, 3G, GSM, CDMA data (GCI, PCI, TAC, RSRP, RSRQ, band, EARFCN, frequency) Wide range of settings to customize your experience (Pro) EARFCN band calculator (range and precise UL and DL frequencies) (Pro) Automated visual logger (Sprint + Pro only) Alert notification for LTE bands and GCIs (connected and disconnected) Automatic refreshing of mobile radio for different conditions Refresh cell radio (reset data connection) to connect to best signal available* (Note: Google added restrictions in Lollipop and above, so it may require root or be unavailable) Live band identifier and signal data in the notification bar Identifies EARFCN and Band for any country/provider when using a Qualcomm processor and ROOTED Identifies 5G (for supported new devices) Identifies LTE band for Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and several other countries (support for more carriers added with the crowdsource feature and user aid) LTE Discovery is a powerful signal discovery and analysis tool with many advanced features and customizations available.
